The Mansky Lab
| Welcome to the Mansky Lab! Our laboratory studies the cell and molecular biology of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1, the cause of AIDS) and human T-cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV-1, the cause of an adult T-cell leukemia) with a particular focus on HIV-1 genetic variation, evolution and population genetics as well as virus assembly. We seek to apply these concepts towards drug discovery and understanding antiviral drug resistance. | | Members of the Mansky Lab (July 07, left to right): Irene Dorweiler, Michael Dapp, Holly Sadler, Azah Tabah, Priya Kamdar, Louis Mansky, Christine Clouser, Colleen Lockman and Casey Dorr. |
